NCLTC is very quiet these days

Ever since the demise of GATS, there hasn’t been a regular train show in the Raleigh area for NLCTC to participate in. The Nuese River Valley Railroad Club puts on a show in November but it falls on a weekend which I have a prior commitment and until I am finished with the Y-Princess program, it will continue to be a conflict.

I had hoped we could gain some traction with Marbles Kids Museum (they have no shortage of space) but they don’t seem to be interested. I may take a run at them again for the Holiday season. Personally, my motivation is waning (already waned?) for things LEGO and the last few times we have done a train show I haven’t had much help. It is a lot of work to get the tables and all of the infrastructure where it needs to be and without help, I can’t bring myself to do it for a weekend show.

If anyone is interested in NCLTC having a long term exhibit (at least a month), don’t hesitate to contact us, that is the sort of show I am interested in doing.
